Darth Vader is the villain in one of the greatest movie hits of all time Star Wars. He wasn’t always the bad guy though; he was once the heroic Jedi Anakin Skywalker. The Emperor Palpatine, converted him to the dark side and after battling with his mentor Obi Won Kenobi he suffered a great burn and missing limbs. The Emperor then rescued him and built a black armor for him with a breathing device to help him with his damaged lungs. He then became Darth Vader.
