Dragons have lived on through myths for thousands of years. Like most mythological creatures, dragons are perceived in different ways by different cultures. Dragons are sometimes said to breathe and spit fire, poison, and/or ice. Most dragons are portrayed as huge lizard like creatures without front legs using the wings. Dragons are very popular in China and it was believed that the dragon was a symbol of the Chinese emperors. Chinese dragons can also develop wings over a life span of 3,500 years.
Dragon costumes are especially imitated by millions of people at Chinese festivals. Be influenced by the Chinese culture and dress up as a dragon this year. You may choose from a respected classic dragon or from character dragons such as Puff the Magic Dragon or Pete's Dragon. Costumes are available to fit children and adults.
